At the time of fieldwork, West Caprivi was in the process of being reproclaimed Bwabwata National Park. An interviewee (R50 - an expert in CBNRM) explained that as far as he was aware, the land for the park had not been surveyed and that the park had only been renamed Bwabwata internally. As such, this article retains the name of West Caprivi
