Int Urogynecol J Pelvic Floor Dysfunct 2008; 19:643-647. This study, comparing a combination of Contigen and Durasphere bulking agents (n=33) with Contigen alone (n=51), shows no difference in the cure rates of stress incontinent women with ISD. At 6 months, the cure rate is about 30% and many women proceed to more invasive surgery.
