    • This is a randomized, controlled trial investigating the effectiveness of prophylactic antibiotics in preventing UTIs in children with VUR. Rates of UTIs and renal scars were the same in both groups. Thus, prophylactic antibiotics do not offer any benefit in the treatment of VUR
