    • To minimize systematic errors due to sample motion during magnetic pulse, fine alignment of the sample position was performed after each temperature and x-ray helicity change. The single pair XMCD spectra were compared to their average (at given edge, temperature, field, and helicity) and those having the highest impact on statistical errors were discarded from further analysis. The typical number of discarded pairs was 1 to 2 and 2-20 for L2 and L3 edges, respectively.
