AntiPGL-Tb1 responses as an indicator of the immune restoration syndrome in HIV-TB patients

In this small study, cases of TB IRD were found to have unusually low baseline serum levels of anti-PGL-Tb1 antibodies prior to onset of IRD compared with TB patients who did not develop IRD. This outcome could be of prognostic value and may provide clues to underlying mechanisms, in press
