The goodness of (non-)linear least-squares fits to the intensity dependence of Il (Ia) and time dependence of Il (λt) is characterized through r2 = 2 / nd (Ref.), where 2 = i=1 n [Il (xi) -f (xi)] 2 / i2 and nd is the number of degrees of freedom available to the fit; here, xi denotes a discrete value of applied intensity Ia or time t in the present work, i is the standard deviation associated with Il (xi) and f (xi) is the functional form adopted to model the parametrized dependence. We take = r2 as a measure of the uncertainty associated with r2.
