    • The effects of endoscopic sinus surgery on level of fatigue in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis
    • Fatigue severity was measured before and after ESS in patients with a variety of comorbidities. Patients having more severe fatigue noted more substantial improvement than patients having less severe fatigue. The fatigue of patients with fibromyalgia, an illness defined largely by fatigue and bodily pain, was more severe than that in the general study population but improved so substantially that the postoperative level of fatigue was indistinguishable from the postoperative level in study patients without fibromyalgia.
