For instance, in the case of the XY model with non conserved dynamics, we have checked that with the transition rates 4 the asymptotic analytical expressions of Ref. can be verified numerically with great accuracy, while using other transition rates, since the dynamics is incomparably slower, the asymptotic domain is not accessed in any reasonable simulation time.

Let us notice that in this case T=0 is also the critical temperature of the model. However the kinetics in this case displays all the phenomenology of phase ordering, and not the radically different one of critical dynamics, since the final state toward which the system evolves is completely ordered.
