    • For homogeneous systems, the Fermi-Hubbard Hamiltonian in one dimension can be exactly solved by Bethe ansatz. This, in combination with the LDA, has allowed different groups reproduce (up to small differences at the state boundaries) and extend the QMC state diagram under a harmonic confinement.
