    • The molecular weights of most of the polymers in the present work are not high. It is likely that the main reason is insufficient solubility of the polymers as summarized in Table 3. The formed polymers may partly precipitate during the polycondensation process, but this point is not clear because the reaction mixture is dark. Another possible reason is formation of cyclic oligomers as confirmed by the MALDI-TOF mass measurement.
