2 (2 mmol) was suspended in 25 mL of absolute ethanol, and 80 mmol of the ligand was added. After the solution was refluxed and stirred for about 3 h, the orange macrocrystalline solid obtained was collected by filtration, washed with ethanol, and dried in vacuum. Yield: 60-70%. These materials were used without further purification.
