Host range and emerging and reemerging pathogens
-
Erica Goss is a post-doctoral researcher interested in the ecology and evolution of plant pathogens, currently focusing on the evolution and population genetics of the sudden oak death pathogen Phytophthora ramorum. Nik Grünwald's research program focuses on the ecology, population genetics and evolution of emerging and exotic oomycete plant pathogens including P. ramorum. Ignazio Carbone is an evolutionary biologist interested in the ecology and population biology of aflatoxigenic fungi. He is also developing software tools and workflows to streamline population genetic analyses.
