In An Ontology of Art Currie actually proposes two hypotheses: the ATH (in Chapter 3) and the IMH (in Chapter 4). The two are, however, quite disjoint and the adherence to the first does not strictly entail the second, and vice versa. The IMH which can be derived from the ATH under the assumption that the actions in question are not uniquely performable (for context, see Levinson, "What a Musical Work Is" 215), is not the thesis that Currie defends, but its weaker version. Since the IMH is largely a response to, and a critique of, Wollheim's dualist Position and Goodman's allo-autographic distinction, I will not deal with it here

In any case, Currie's Twin Earth-based objections do not have the desired upshot, allowing Levinson to dispose of them in his review of Currie's ATH ("An Ontology" 221-22)
