For a 1950 update memorandum by T.J. Rutherford, 16 Feb. 1950, file 12, 404, RG 38, NA. According to Roy Kawamoto, Inouye was one of only two Japanese Canadians caught up in the wartime forced resettlement to recover property from the Government of Canada.
