Fine, Hidden Variables, Joint Probability, and the Bell Inequalities
-
In the sequel, we concentrate on correlation experiments whose outcomes violate the Bell inequalities. For the type of experiments considered here, satisfaction of those inequalities is sufficient for there being a local, factorizable model - see Fine, "Hidden Variables, Joint Probability, and the Bell Inequalities," Physical Review Letters, XLVIII (1982): 291-95. Every such model is separable. Hence, satisfaction of those inequalities implies separability.
