    • WB uses molecular tools to study historical processes at and below the species level. MP is interested in the phylogeny, population genetics and conservation of amphibians. JWA is Curator of Vertebrates as the National Museum of Natural History, Leiden, the Netherlands, and has his main interests in the systematics and evolutionary biology of European amphibians. DC is a Professor at the University Ovidius, interested in amphibian life history and evolution. WD leads the population genetics group at the Department of Community Ecology of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ. JR is a Professor at the Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences and at the Institute of Environmental Sciences, Jagiellonian University. His interests focus on sexual selection, its evolutionary-genetic background and conservation.
