Note that for the rather high d/2w ratio of our platelets a standard "elliptical" correction would only slightly overestimate Hc1: for samples 1 and 2 d/2w∼0.3, leading to 1/ (1-N) ∼4.0±0.2 for strips and 2.8±0.2 for disks compared to Hc1 / Hp ∼2.7±0.4 for geometrical corrections.
