    • Estimation of the number of nucleotide substitutions in the central region of mitochondrial DNA in humans and chimpanzees
    • Andrew Short is an assistant professor and curator of entomology at the University of Kansas. His research foci revolve around the morphological and ecological evolution of aquatic beetles. Michael Caterino is a curator at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. His research interests include the diversity and relationships of California beetles, as well as the global systematics of histerid beetles. Sampling localities with haplotypes for all species and GenBank Accession nos. NA indicates no specimens were extracted from that locality or that no specimens were found there. For haplotypes, numbers in parentheses indicate number of individuals with the same haplotype. NF, National Forest; UC, University of California
