69. Note that the Om diagnostic does not use any information about the evolution of inhomogeneities in an FRW background, usually represented by the growth factor δ(z)≡(δρ/ρ)m. Therefore our proposal for a null test of LCDM is totally unrelated to earlier null tests [based on the analytical expression for Ωm in terms of δ(z) obtained in], and to the test of physical nature of dark energy (equivalently, that Geff is a constant) suggested in.
