The largely heuristic algorithm in Eq. (9) does not appear to map easily on to these though.     • As noted by Español and Warren (Ref. 15), there is no difficulty of interpretation of the stochastic differential equations - the Itô and Stratonovich interpretations coincide. This also means that there are no diffusion tensor gradient terms in the first order Euler scheme.
