    • The efficiency of the ge as initiating alkyl radical when DPAIO-g was used for the NMP of MMA pointed out that intra-molecular radical reaction did not occur or to a negligible extend. Furthermore, the high amount of alkene generated during the thermal decomposition of 17g in the absence of scavenger confirmed the very low level of occurrence for the intra-molecular radical cyclization. In a paper in preparation, we describe the occurrence of H-transfer for THM-PO-g and showed that initiation of NMP of styrene occurred but with efficiency smaller than 1. Personal communication of the authors.
