    • 60 molecular arrangements between one direction and the opposite direction scannings may occur, which gives the possibility that some hysteresis is produced. However, the quantities of the hysteresis are less than a few percent in this experiment. Hence, it can be concluded that within experimental errors, no hysteresis exists and mean frictional forces are zero.
