    • In general, knowledge of the finite-temperature thermodynamics of a subsystem does not necessarily allow one to deduce the thermodynamic behavior of the entire system. It is fortunate that the TKL is simple enough such that knowledge of the ground state of a single hexamer allows one to infer the ground state of the entire system.
