The initial excited state is a vibronic replica (Formula presented) ((Formula presented)) which quickly relaxes towards zero-phonon (Formula presented) ((Formula presented)). If the lifetime (Formula presented) of the initial (Formula presented) ((Formula presented)) were longer than the pulse duration, a depopulation exceeding (Formula presented) could not be achieved. We attempted to fit the time traces of Figs. 2 4, taking account of this process, satisfactorily fitting the data for (Formula presented)
