    • The PS - PMA micelles for experimental studies have been prepared by dialysis from 1,4-dioxane (80 water mixture to aqueous buffers. The micellization equilibrium is reversible in this mixture, and it freezes during dialysis. In our recent studies, we have been using the association number based on the empirical scaling with the length of PS and PMA blocks. It yields 113 for symmetrical samples that we studied recently. Experimental values range from 100 to 120, slightly depending upon conditions (concentration, dialization velocity, etc.).
