15. At any temperature, including that of its formation, the polysulfone equilibrates with diradicals (tertiary alkyl radicals and sulfonyl radicals), a phenomenon arising from the entropy of fragmentation (mostly translational entropy) which increases with the molecular mass of the polymer.
