    • Obligate army-ant-following birds: A study of ecology, spatial movement patterns, and behavior in Amazonian Peru
    • Johel Chaves-Campos is a PhD student at Purdue University studying obligate army-ant-following behaviour and group living in ocellated antbirds. He conducts molecular analyses in the laboratory of Andrew DeWoody, who studies molecular ecology and evolution in a wide range of vertebrate taxa. This research represents DeWoody's first foray into tropical biology, and he thanks J.C-C. for keeping him out of the swarm.
