For U 10t, it is about 2t, while for U∼5t, it is smaller than 2t (Ref.). Thus, for V=2t, the effect of the exciton binding is stronger in the latter case than in the former case. Actually, the effect of g on the exciton for V=2t seems to be stronger in the case of U=5t than in the case of U=10t.
