Commentary: Juvenile rheumatic disease as a psychosocial stressor
-
Routh D: Commentary: juvenile rheumatic disease as a psychosocial stressor. J Pediatr Psychol 2003, 28:41-43. This excellent commentary compliments previous articles [1-3] for their high methodological standards and rigorous design. However, it raises questions about clinical validity of findings. It is emphasized that research should be able to capture the individual dimension of the potentially profound psychosocial impact of a pediatric rheumatic illness.
