    • The phase ø, first thought a nonrelevant factor, is in fact an important parameter in the CDT at smaller frequency, as we have recently shown [J. M. Villas-Bô̂as, S. E. Ulloa, and N. Studart (unpublished)]. A phase ø= π/2 produces a better CDT, and it is used here. Although the phase does not affect the Floquet spectrum, the states themselves reflect the initial value of the driving field for a given initial condition.
