28. The PFY spectra were corrected from self-absorption using the FLUO program developed by D. Haskel (Advanced Photon Source), and via comparison with the XAS spectra.
29. Other relaxation mechanisms can take place in the intermediate state, such as electron-hole pair excitation, magnons, transitions to impurity states, etc.
