    • The triplet STE is associated with off-center relaxation, whereas the singlet STE maintains the on-center configuration (see Ref. 3). The term "relaxing excitons" is used in this paper to designate localized (e-h) pairs under relaxation leading to formation of STEs and F-H pairs, to clearly differentiate them from the equilibrated configurations of STEs.
