    • The values of the magnetization between the two peaks of the probability distribution are strongly suppressed (see Fig. 1), and this suppression increases with the size of the system. This means that in practical simulations of large lattices, the correspondence between Ising and IMFM breaks down and Eq. (4) is no longer an efficient method to calculate the thermodynamic properties of IMFM.
