    • Note that in principle use of the ultrathin-film approximation is rigorous up to a thickness corresponding to the exchange correlation length (for Fe about 35 Å). However, we have verified that even for the 100-Å-thick film the frequency calculated using an exact numerical model is only about 0.3 GHz (i.e., comparable to the experimental uncertainty) higher than with the analytical model.
