45. The effect of the presence of anhydride units grafted on the backbone is not taken into account in this calculation, as their number is low enough to be neglected.
46. The high grafting yield obtained in this work allowed us to be able to observe the anhydride signals in 13C NMR, which normally requires the use of expensive 13C-enriched maleic anhydride for the grafting reaction.
