However, analysis of the analogous f Rydberg series has found the (Formula presented) (Formula presented) component to contribute less than (Formula presented) to the total amplitude of the state (Ref. 17); therefore, we neglect it here. For an (Formula presented) (Formula presented) (Formula presented) state built on a pure (Formula presented) (Formula presented) core, we calculate an asymmetry parameter (Formula presented) to describe the alignment of the (Formula presented) core top axis.
