    • In QCD the value of the ratio mσ/mρ is difficult to pin down because both the ρ and especially the σ have large widths. I make the trivial remark that the value of mσ/mρ is uniquely defined and physically sensible in both the quenched approximation or for large Nc, since in either limit, mesons have zero width.
