    • For the considered class of models of disordered correlated electrons, the d= inf mean-field equations can be derived from a saddle-point solution of a functional integral formulation. It is interesting to note that an analogous derivation has so far not been constructed in the absence of disorder. Because of this, for pure models it is not clear how to perform a loop expansion, i.e., formulate a systematic study of long-wavelength fluctuations beyond mean-field theory.
