56. China National Petroleum Corporation and India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited acquired from Petro-Canada a 38% stake in Al Furat Petroleum Company, Syria's largest oil producer. This was the first alliance between Chinese and Indian state-owned energy enterprises.
