Marie Charpentier is interested in the study of mating systems, kin relationships and social structure in primates. David Garfield is interested in the effects of genetic and ecological variation on embryonic development, and in how this variation can contribute to interspecific differences. Susan C. Alberts and Jeanne Altmann are co-directors of the Amboseli Baboon Research Project.
