V.H. Tran and Z. Bukowski (private communication). Ir3Ga3Ge4 crystallizes in the cubic Ir3Ge7-type structure with the lattice parameter of a=0.8687nm. The magnetic measurements indicate a weak diamagnetism. The electronic specific heat coefficient γ was determined from the low-temperature data to be 3.5mJ/(molIr)K2. The phonon specific heat has two ingredients: Debye component Cph,D with the Debye temperature ΘD=275(5)K and Einstein component Cph,E with the Einstein temperature ΘE=110K.
