    • There are two other expressions in the literature: Gallovoti-Cohen fluctuation theorem or GCFT of 1995 and the extended heat theorem of van Zon and Cohen of 2004. These theorems are different from that discussed here. The GCFT has the same functional form as the FT, Eq. (1), however, the argument of the FT is the phase-space compression factor. The left- and right-hand sides of the extended heat theorem are also similar in form to Eq. (1) although the extended theorem is a non-equivalence of these terms and the argument is the accumulated heat exchange.
