note
-
We also tried to perform fits to determine the exponent ratios, excluding the results for the smallest system size, L = 80. We did this by using Eqs. (4) and (5) with L = 100. The resulting exponent estimates, γ/ν≈1.69, β/ν≈0.35 for n=2, and β/ν≈0.21 for n=4, are strongly n-dependent and significantly violate the hyperscaling relation: 2(β/ν) + γ/ν≈2.4 for n=2 and 2(β/ν)+ γ/ν≈2.1 for n=4. These fits are thus not internally consistent, probably because the uncertainty in our data is such that the maximum range of system sizes is required to obtain reasonably accurate exponent ratios.
