    • The dependence of the increase in temperature on the laser power is thought to be approximated by the linear equation ΔT=KP, where K is some constant that is directly proportional to the absorbance of oil, the geometry of the droplet and the experimental conditions (some form-factor), and inversely proportional to the heat conductivity of oil.
