    • We have chosen the 3 direction in isospin to be that for neutral pions, but there is nothing special in this choice. For example, if { cal R}1 is the fraction of pions in the isospin 1 direction, then the distribution in { cal R}1 is 1/2 {calR1}. This is obvious, since by an isospin rotation we can relabel the 3 direction as the 1 direction.
