(unpublished). Both the one-photon UV spectrum and vibrationally mediated UV spectrum with initial excitation of the C-D stretch track the dimer absorption cross section at this total energy. Also we have compared the hydrogen and deuterium yields of the (DCOOH)2 photodissociation with vibrationally mediated photodissociation for initial excitation of these molecular eigenstates. For all processes, the relative deuterium to hydrogen yields are the same within a 95% confidence interval.
