The CrEl-formulated solution was prepared in this case with twice the amount of the emulsifier with respect to the spectrum reported in Figure 2b. This was done to completely suppress the H aggregate. The copresence of the single molecule band and H-aggregate band are anyway already evident from the 2a spectrum in the formulated PBS we reported in Figure 2b.
