To examine the error in calculating t introduced by our assumption of dG/dP=1.5, we compare a calculated t value with one calculated assuming dG/dP=1.0. At 26.5 GPa, this difference produces a 4% error in the values of t calculated. Therefore, we conclude that the t measurements are robust with respect to assumptions about pressure extrapolation of the elastic constants.
