For d spatial dimensions the transition is the universality class of (d+1)D XY transition. The same conclusion has been reached earlier by Anatoly Kuklov, Nikolay Prokof'ev, and Boris Svistunov, Phys. Rev. Lett. 92, 030403 (2004), using a lattice formulation of the problem. A related problem in which diatom molecules form and condense in a single species of bosonic atoms has also been studied, and the corresponding transition is in the (d+1)D Ising universality class; PRLTAO 0031-9007 10.1103/PhysRevLett.92.030403
