Chemical differentiation in relation to the morphology of the single-needle pinyons
-
Kenneth L. Cole is a research ecologist with the US Geological Survey who has concentrated his research on vegetation change as caused by climate and other ecological processes. Much of his research has been on changing plant distributions of western North America as determined from the analysis of plant macrofossils contained within packrat middens. Jessica Fisher completed a masters degree in the Environmental Sciences and Policy Program at Northern Arizona University and has worked extensively with plant taxonomy and anatomical studies of needles of pinyon pines. Samantha Arundel is an associate professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Recreation at Northern Arizona University and has worked extensively with climate modelling of plant species using geospatial systems. Editor: Glen MacDonald
